Night home care consists of two work teams, one operating from central Hudiksvall and the other from Dellenbygden. These positions are located in central Hudiksvall. Responsibilities Your main tasks will involve personal care in private homes, such as personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and help with toilet visits. You will also need to handle both planned and unexpected situations that may arise, as well as respond to emergency calls. Documentation according to current procedures is also part of your responsibilities. You should have an interest in rehabilitative work, as our goal is to support clients in living as independently as possible. In your work, you will collaborate closely with professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers. Home care in the municipality continuously works on improvements to create a safer daily life for our clients, and we are therefore strengthening our team with additional nursing assistants. This is to improve the quality of work and create a safer everyday life for both clients and staff. On-call shifts may occur, and you need to be flexible and prepared for potential transfers to another work team if needed. As a new employee, you will first receive thorough training. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. It is an advantage if you have experience in elderly care generally and home care specifically. You will use computers, smartphones, and a car in your work. Digital literacy and a Class B driver's license are therefore required. Your responsibilities include communicating with various parties verbally and in writing, so you need to have a good command of the Swedish language. To be successful and thrive in this role, you need to be self-motivated, solution-focused, comfortable with independent work, and have a positive attitude. Good teamwork skills and professional conduct are essential, as well as acting in accordance with decisions, activity plans, goals, policies, and guidelines.
