Avarn Security has the assignment to deliver security services to Stockholm Arlanda Airport, which involves staffing with Airport Controllers, Security Guards, and Patrol Officers. For many years, we have also delivered security services to Malmö Airport (Sturup), Sälen Airport (Scandinavian Mountains Airport), and Oslo Airport Gardermoen.
The security checkpoint at Arlanda is one of Sweden's most complex, dynamic, and visible assignments. It demands high standards of quality, service, and continuous improvement. To ensure that we meet and exceed these requirements, we are now seeking an engaged and development-oriented training manager.
About the Position
As a training manager, you will have overall responsibility for leading, coordinating, and developing training activities within Avarn Aviation.
You will work closely with both internal functions and the client to ensure relevant and high-quality training initiatives. The role involves both strategic and operational responsibility where you contribute to business development and quality assurance.
You will report to the business area manager for the assignment and be part of the management team for the assignment.
Work Location: Arlanda Airport
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position (6-month probationary period applies)
Working Hours: Weekdays, no weekends
Start Date: As soon as possible or by agreement
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include:
· Plan, coordinate, and follow up on the organization's training activities
· Lead and develop instructor groups
· Ensure planning of mandatory training on an annual basis
· Manage documentation of mandatory training, continuing education, and practical training
· Oversee competency requirements, training, and follow-up for image interpretation. Supervise image interpretation coordinators and ensure continuous X-ray certification for the Arlanda assignment
· Prepare statistics and reports related to training conducted for the assignment and analyze future training needs

· Strong administrative skills and experience working with various digital systems.
· Excellent Swedish language skills and good English proficiency, both spoken and written.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience from the security industry, airport operations, or other security-critical activities is desirable, as is experience with government-regulated training or working with regulatory requirements. Experience with workforce planning and training coordination in larger organizations, pedagogical training, or adult education training is valuable. Project management or change management experience is also considered an asset. Previous experience in a management team is desirable. Additionally, fluent communication in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, is an advantage.
