Stockholm Water Jet Cutting was founded in 1989 and is the heart of the Steelex Group. We primarily work with contract manufacturing in the metal processing industry, with CNC-controlled water jet cutting as our specialty. Today we are a complete mechanical workshop.
With over 30 years in the industry, we have the experience, knowledge, and capacity required to call ourselves a complete supplier within metal processing.
Our business idea is to help our customers from idea to finished product – our prototype manufacturing and product development department works directly with the various production departments and can thus easily follow the process and keep you updated throughout.
Since 2025, Intermekano is also part of Stockholm Water Jet Cutting, and at our facility in Bålsta we manufacture both tools, prototypes, and component parts.
About the Position:
The Production Manager has three overarching functions: as a specialist, as a decision-maker, and as an implementer. Through these roles, the Production Manager is also responsible for delegating work tasks to employees suitable to carry them out to ensure good work distribution and an efficient flow.
In your daily work you will
Lead and direct operations in water jet cutting to ensure delivery times are met and budgeted financial goals are achieved
Continuously ensure that preparations are developed in line with incoming orders
Ensure that current orders are executed according to specifications/documents and with maximum possible productivity and in accordance with the company's established guidelines
Promote a working method that contributes to both efficiency and development for our work procedures and employees
Review accidents, incidents, and deviations together with the Safety Representative and HR
Verify that daily supervision is performed and documented
Responsible for quality control
The position will report to the Operations Manager and you will be part of the company's management team.
Qualifications:
You should have a few years of previous experience from the manufacturing industry, and it is meritorious if you also have experience from water jet cutting. You should be comfortable in a role with a varied daily routine where your day is divided between strategic planning and operational work.
As a person, you should be solution-oriented and driven with good leadership qualities.
Good system knowledge in Monitor is meritious for the position.
