We're looking for someone who is driven, physically strong, and playful with great patience. Our client has both motor and intellectual disabilities and requires comprehensive support in his daily life. The job duties include assistance with all daily activities such as transfers, personal hygiene, meals, and dressing. You will also actively work to stimulate play, interaction, and fine motor development. The client does not speak and communicates primarily through body language, but is training to use pictures and sign language. Experience with AAC, sign language as support (TAKK), or picture-based communication is a plus. You will participate in daily activities and training such as conductive education, swimming, horseback riding, and walks. The work takes place mainly at home with the family, and some shifts may involve double assistance. We're looking for someone who: • Wants to work approximately 30% (2–3 weekday afternoons/evenings plus 1–2 weekend days every other week) • Has good physical fitness and can handle lifting and transfers • Is responsible and responsive • Is creative and playful • Is a non-smoker It's a plus if you have: • Experience working as a personal assistant or with children with disabilities • Experience with small children (0–3 years) • Knowledge of TAKK or other AAC • Experience with horses or dogs • A driver's license and the ability to drive to activities Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
