If the work involves support for children, you must submit an extract from the criminal record register, which will be kept with us for 2 years, in accordance with applicable legislation.
We're looking for a stable and responsible person with positive energy to support a soon-to-be adult young man in Dalby.
You will work at approximately 75% employment. Shifts are between
07:00-17:00 or 15:00-22:00 on weekdays. On weekends 08:00-17:00.
Night shifts may also occur.
The young man lives with his family in Dalby. He has extensive multiple disabilities with recurring (daily) epileptic seizures and uses a wheelchair. He's a happy and wonderful guy to work with! His main interests are skiing, swimming, and music.
He goes swimming for training once a week, so it needs to be no problem for you to jump in the pool.
We're looking for someone who has worked as a personal assistant and is experienced with significant care tasks and comfortable with them. You need to be empathetic and compassionate, as well as have the ability to switch between making important decisions and being a good friend who comes up with fun activities!
Since his condition varies from day to day, it's important that you as an assistant are adaptable. Being responsible and able to follow routines is a requirement for this position. Non-smoking is a requirement.
You need to be flexible and able to cover shifts with short notice when needed, for example in case of illness and similar situations. In this team, we give and take for each other!
