Borås Energi & Miljö's Fleet consists of hooklifts, crane/hooklifts, and a side-tipping wood chip unit. We are a team of 16 drivers.
The position mainly involves operating a crane truck and hookuplit truck. With the crane truck, you empty crane-lifted waste containers, and with the hookuplit truck, you transport containers from our recycling centers and from our external and internal customers. The position requires close collaboration with colleagues and the ability to take responsibility for your routes.
The work also requires a willingness to go the extra mile for both internal and external customers, as well as managing deviations and improvement work for both routes and the work environment.
Your tasks will include:
• Operating a truck with hookuplit and vehicle-mounted crane.
• Operating a hookuplit truck
• Handling deviations in the EDP Mobile data system
• When needed, covering other operations within the transport department
Your Background and Personal Qualities
• CE driving license and YKB are required.
• Crane certification over 18 t/m and wheel loader cargo handling/construction experience are advantageous.
• Technical and mechanical interest in learning about all vehicle functions and making informed decisions based on current vehicle issues.
• You have good local knowledge of Borås, solution-focused collaboration skills, and you are flexible, risk-aware, and organized.

Good to Know:
This is a temporary position (with possible extension) starting 2026-08-17 and running through 2026-11-30 with an average schedule of 38.25h/week over a 5-week period.
Working hours are evenings, Monday to Thursday approximately 14:30 – 00:39. Every fifth week you work Saturday and Sunday, which is compensated with time off.
