We're Looking for an Instrumentation Technician at Volvo Penta!

We are now seeking an instrumentation technician with an interest in engine development, with a particular focus on service, support, and preventive maintenance. The service function is a central part of engine development and testing in both the industrial and marine segments at Volvo Penta. You will become part of a dedicated service team responsible for service, support, calibration, and maintenance of measuring equipment in our test facilities. The role is varied and combines practical work with technical problem-solving. Your responsibilities: As an instrumentation technician, you will work with, among other things: • Calibrating and troubleshooting instruments and equipment in a test facility environment • Performing particle weighing • Repairing and manufacturing wiring for prototype engines, instruments, and engine test facilities • Participating in and ensuring preventive maintenance measures • Working proactively to create stable and reliable test environments Who are you? We're looking for someone with experience in instrumentation technology, calibration, and measurement technology. You have likely worked in a similar role before and have training in electrical engineering, instrumentation, or a comparable technical field.
