We are now seeking an instrumentation technician with an interest in engine development, with a particular focus on service, support, and preventive maintenance. The service function is a central part of the development and testing of engines in both the industrial and marine segments at Volvo Penta. You will become part of a dedicated service team responsible for servicing, supporting, calibrating, and maintaining measurement equipment in our test cells. The role is varied and combines practical work with technical problem-solving. Your responsibilities: As an instrumentation technician, you will work with, among other things: • Calibrating and troubleshooting instruments and equipment in a test cell environment • Performing particle weighing • Repairing and manufacturing cables for prototype engines, instruments, and engine test cells • Participating in and ensuring preventive maintenance measures • Working proactively to create stable and reliable testing environments Who are you? We are looking for someone with experience in instrumentation, calibration, and measurement technology. You have likely worked in a similar role before and have education in electrical engineering, instrumentation, or a corresponding technical field.
