The Water and Wastewater Business Area is responsible for the production and distribution of drinking water as well as the treatment of wastewater in Borås. We operate five water treatment plants and six wastewater treatment facilities, and we are now seeking a group manager for the wastewater production department.

We are responsible for operating five smaller treatment plants and approximately 120 pump stations throughout Borås. The operation is based at Sobacken, where our largest treatment plant and digestion facility are located.
Technological development and increased environmental requirements drive us to continuously improve our work methods and develop our facilities. That's why we're looking for you to help contribute to the continued development of our operations.
As a group manager, you will lead a team of approximately ten operations technicians and be responsible for planning, coordinating, and developing the daily operation of our wastewater facilities. You serve as a support for your employees and ensure that work is carried out efficiently, safely, and with high quality.
Your main responsibilities
Lead and allocate daily work for the operations technicians.
Coordinate rounds and checklists.
Coordinate fault reports and collaborate with the maintenance department.
Handle shutdowns and work permits.
Plan and coordinate major projects.
Drive and participate in projects.
Actively contribute to occupational health and safety work.
Work with development and improvement of facilities and work methods.
Your background and personal qualities We're looking for someone with a technical interest and a strong commitment to occupational health and safety, quality, and structure. You are a confident and present leader who builds trust, engagement, and good cooperation.
You work in a structured and thorough manner with a strong focus on quality and have the ability to plan, prioritize, and make decisions while involving and developing your employees. Requirements
Higher education in operations, maintenance, process, or mechanical engineering, or experience that the employer deems equivalent.
Experience from water and wastewater operations or similar process industry.
Driver's license category B.
Good computer and system skills.
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Meritorious
Previous experience in leadership or work management.
Hot Work Certificate.
Experience with maintenance systems.
Experience in project management.

Good to know The employment is a permanent position on a full-time basis starting with a six-month probationary period. Working hours are scheduled during the day with placement at the wastewater treatment plant at Sobacken. On-call duties may be included in the position.
