Every day, you contribute to keeping our municipality running smoothly and help us reach our environmental goals. Work hours are scheduled during daytime. Standby work on weekends and public holidays may occur. Start in mid-August. The role involves: Collecting and transporting waste from both households and businesses within Älmhult municipality, according to established routes and schedules. Ensuring high quality and service by handling waste safely and efficiently, in compliance with applicable procedures and environmental requirements. Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner, serving as an important ambassador for SSAM and contributing to a positive experience for residents. Reporting deviations and following safety regulations to create a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues. As part of their team, your work is essential for maintaining good service to the municipality's residents while protecting the environment for future generations. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're seeking someone who: Is responsible, service-oriented, and flexible. Has a positive attitude and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. Is in good physical condition, as the work is physically demanding. Requirements: Minimum Class C driver's license Valid digital tachograph card Valid YKB (Professional Competence Certificate) Swedish in speech and writing Merits: Experience in waste management or similar service occupations Class CE driver's license Computer skills Additional Information StudentConsulting is the recruitment partner for SSAM and is handling this recruitment process.
