About the role
Would you like to combine business acumen, analysis, and finance in an operationally focused role within the automotive industry? We are now seeking a Business Controller for our client in the automotive industry to join their procurement organization. In this role, you will provide important support to the business and assist the organization with financial decisions, analyses, and improvement initiatives. You will work closely with multiple functions and contribute insights that strengthen both the business and strategic decision-making.
This is a full-time consulting assignment starting immediately and running until January 31, 2027, with good opportunities for extension.
Examples of key responsibilities:
Conduct analyses and reporting in connection with monthly closing, including KPIs and performance indicators
Conduct analyses and forecasts related to investments, capacity planning, risks, and resource allocation
Contribute financial insights to cross-functional investigations and improvement initiatives
Manage and follow up on supplier invoice-related matters
Support procurement organization projects with financial expertise
Perform scenario analyses and cost analyses related to material costs
Assist buyers and project managers with financial processes
Participate in special projects and other business-related initiatives within the procurement organization
About you

Requirements for the role
Academic degree in business economics, economics, or equivalent
2-5 years of experience in a Business Controller role or equivalent
Experience with financial analysis, forecasting work, and reporting
Very strong Excel skills
Experience with accounting systems such as SAP, Essbase, or similar
Experience with Power BI and Office 365
Fluent English, both spoken and written
Merits:

Experience from the automotive industry or other manufacturing industry
