From the fall term 2026, we are creating a principal's area at Campus Allé where Adapted Upper Secondary School and the Introductory Program are brought together under a principal and an assistant principal. We are therefore seeking an assistant principal with a great opportunity to help shape the content of the position together with the principal and staff, as the position is new. To thrive in this role, we believe you need a genuine interest in students as people, but also in helping them achieve their and the education's goals. Similarly, you have a genuine interest in staff and work together with them to build a good work environment characterized by collaboration. Job Responsibilities As an assistant principal, you work close to operations, where you systematically initiate, drive, and follow up on educational development work with the aim of creating an accessible learning environment in accordance with current governing documents. You are present in daily operations and are responsible for day-to-day management. You plan and lead various meetings. As an assistant principal, you have personnel responsibility and work together with the principal on budget, work environment, and operational matters. You are also responsible for driving systematic quality work together with the principal. You participate in and build relevant networks and bridges to the business community. You will be part of the management team, which consists of principals and assistant principals for Alléskolan's upper secondary programs, Adapted Upper Secondary School, and Allévux. Qualifications We are seeking someone who has worked as an assistant principal or held a management position, preferably within Adapted Primary/Upper Secondary School or the Introductory Program. You have completed relevant leadership training, such as recruitment training for future principals. You are secure in the school's knowledge and values-based mission. You have the ability to work at individual, group, and organizational levels and switch between perspectives. You are curious, courageous, structured, work systematically, are flexible, and drive work forward (an enabler). You lead with trust and drive development through dialogue. You are persistent. You are confident in your role as a manager and leader and have an unpretentious and coaching approach. You are accustomed to working independently but enjoy working together. You are confident in making decisions, communicating decisions, and following through to implementation. In short, we are seeking someone who has: a pedagogical education at higher education level documented leadership experience from a school environment leadership characterized by clarity, responsiveness, security, and good communication skills documented knowledge of functional variations (IF, NPF, etc.) a willingness and ability to collaborate in various networks and with the business community Meritorious if you have experience in a management role in adapted upper secondary school or the introductory program. It is also meritorious if you have started or completed principal training. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
