We are seeking a Daytime Operations Manager - Electrical Grid

Do you want to have a key role in ensuring the operation of the electrical grid in a growing municipality? As an operations manager for the electrical grid, you are a central part of keeping our electrical grid stable, secure, and accessible around the clock. From the operations center, you monitor and control the electrical grid in real-time and respond quickly to disruptions. You analyze the situation, prioritize the right measures, and lead the efforts until power supply is restored. You are an important part of making operations function every day. Your main responsibilities will include You are responsible for the daily operation of our electrical installations, handling disruptions, planned work, and operational development. The role also includes troubleshooting street lighting and traffic signal systems. Receive and handle alarms and fault notifications, and lead and prioritize fault resolution in the field Act as an electrical operations manager during daytime according to ESA and lead personnel safely during operational disruptions and planned work Inform customers and the public before, during, and after outages and disruptions Plan and follow up on operational and maintenance work, and participate in the preparation of work orders Responsible for operational systems, backup power installations, and radio, alarm, and communication systems such as SCADA and Rakel Handle compensation matters, billing for damage, and quality monitoring and outage reporting Perform operational calculations to ensure quality and functionality of the grid. Participate in the company's emergency preparedness activities Your qualifications We are looking for someone with strong technical expertise in electrical grids who thrives in a role where you need to make decisions, prioritize, and create structure. Electrical engineer, electrical engineer, or vocational college education (for example in electrical power or electrical grids or distribution electrician), or equivalent experience Class B driver's license Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Previous experience and competence At least 3 years of experience from electrical grid operations, operations, maintenance, or similar environment Good understanding of how electrical grids are built and function Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety requirements (such as the Electricity Act and ESA) Ability to interpret measurement data and assess how faults and load variations affect the electrical grid Work with work orders and operational planning It is a merit if you have experience with Operational systems (such as dpPower Operator or similar) Meter reading systems (such as Aidon) Analysis platform systems (such as Quant insight) Practical experience from work in electrical grid installations or field activities in electrical distribution Personal qualities To thrive in the role, you need to be someone who creates order and structure even when a lot is happening around you.
