🐥 About the Role
As an animal care worker or farm manager, you will work hands-on with the care and maintenance of poultry (chickens) on one of our 14 farms in northwestern Scania.
Formal education is not required, but experience from agriculture or animal husbandry is highly desirable. For the farm manager role, experience is required.
🎯 Responsibilities and Tasks
You will become part of our production team of approximately 35 people. Work is conducted in teams of 1–3 people per farm, depending on size. Our modern facilities are technically equipped, which requires you to be comfortable with technology, troubleshooting, and digital tools.

As an animal care worker, you will work with tasks including:
Feeding the animals
Monitoring health and welfare
Performing sampling and checks to ensure healthy and well-kept animals
Weighing, vaccinating, and selecting animals
Sorting and counting eggs on the egg line
Placing eggs correctly for further transport to the hatchery
Cleaning animal facilities and maintaining a good work environment
Washing work clothes
Managing egg production
Planning daily work in consultation with the farm manager and supervisor
Working with routines, deviations, biosecurity, and salmonella controls
Recording production data and animal condition
Performing alarm checks according to schedule
Inventorying and reporting results
Ensuring good animal care and high biosecurity
Ordering feed and supplies
As a farm manager, you will have the same tasks but also greater responsibility for ensuring that work on the farm is carried out according to plan in dialogue with the supervisor.
🧰 Skills and Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who:
Has good knowledge of animal husbandry
Handles animals in a safe and ethical manner
Is thorough, responsible, and technically interested
Has good teamwork abilities
Speaks and writes Swedish fluently (required)
Has basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Holds a driver's license and has access to a car
Understands English (desirable)
🕒 Work Hours
Work hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Schedule: 10 working days, followed by 4 days off
Overtime may occur
