You will work as a wood and metalworking teacher in grades 3–9. The school is a calm and well-liked F-9 school located in pleasant and functional facilities with proximity to nature.
Broad planning is in place, but you may need to do some planning yourself. The assignment starts in August and runs throughout the school year, with the possibility of extension. The position is approximately 80%. Work hours Monday to Friday.
Job Description
As a wood and metalworking teacher, you will:
· Plan and follow up on instruction. There is ready-made material and support available at the school.
· Contribute to a safe learning environment where students feel seen and motivated.
· Work in close dialogue with colleagues and school leadership.
We're Looking for You to Have
· Experience teaching or working with children and young people.
· Experience in wood and metalworking or equivalent experience in, for example, the construction industry.
· Good collaborative skills and a professional approach to your work.
· Strong proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
We place great importance on personal suitability. You need to be flexible, clear, and confident in your leadership role.
