The Obstetric Unit is part of the Womens Clinic at Linköping University Hospital. The Womens Clinic's mission is to provide health and medical care within gynecology and obstetrics, education and research. The obstetric inpatient unit consists of labor/antenatal ward, postpartum unit (BB) and postpartum clinic. With us, midwives work in rotation toward one or more of these units. Job Description As a midwife on the labor/postpartum unit, you are an important part of the work to provide our patients with a safe and secure birth and postpartum care based on the patient's unique needs. You will work in interdisciplinary teams with a shared focus on delivering world-class care. On the unit we care for pregnant women from week 20+0 and handle deliveries from the entire Southeast healthcare region. You will work on the labor/antenatal ward and/or postpartum unit (BB) and postpartum clinic, but you will be introduced on one unit at a time. The goal is that you can work across the entire care chain within 1-2 years. Service may also take place on other units of the clinic if needed. About You We are looking for someone who wants to work for a safe and attractive birth and postpartum care for todays and tomorrows women, where the person's unique needs are central. Previous professional experience in obstetric outpatient and inpatient care is a merit. As a person you are comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams. You are also someone who communicates easily and collaborates with both patients and colleagues. As a person you are structured, independent and have the ability to prioritize in acute situations and are comfortable with work that can vary both in terms of tasks and workload.
