The Department for Disabilities and Permanently Reduced Work Capacity administers a large number of social insurance benefits, including assistance compensation, sickness and activity benefits, as well as compensation from work injury insurance. The Legal Support business area is responsible for reconsideration, litigation, and case-handling-related legal support. The business area serves as a driving force in the legal quality work of the department. Our legal support operations are conducted in two units, which will now be strengthened with additional colleagues. We are located in several places around the country, and today approximately 20 experienced and dedicated lawyers work with us. Legal Support, Development, and Collaboration Work as a department lawyer in an insurance department entails particular responsibility for correct and uniform application of social insurance and other applicable legislation. Based on legal governance, you are responsible for monitoring legal developments in the insurance area where you work. By providing close legal support in administrative law matters to the insurance area's staff and to development activities, you contribute to good legal quality. You support managers and employees in legal matters and share your knowledge. You contribute to good collaboration both within the department and with other departments, including the agency's legal department. As a lawyer, you handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a strong security awareness. We Are Looking for You Who hold a law degree (jur.kand. or equivalent) are a notary or have other equivalent work experience act on your own initiative and take responsibility for high-quality results work systematically and carefully can understand and analyze complex issues communicate clearly, clearly, and in a structured manner both verbally and in writing collaborate effectively to achieve common goals. It Is Advantageous If You have good knowledge of administrative law and social insurance law have good knowledge of public access to information and confidentiality, other administrative law including data protection matters have experience leading projects and good pedagogical skills have knowledge of business development. We place great importance on your personal qualities. Other Information We are seeking several lawyers, full-time, with start date by agreement. Trial employment may be applicable. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive activities. To be employed in such a position, an approved security clearance is required in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
