The Care and Social Services Department with approximately 1500 employees is one of the departments in Mölndal's city and encompasses elderly care, disability support and healthcare services.

The Rehabilitation Unit consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants and service technicians who work towards the municipality's five care and service homes, a short-term care unit and home healthcare for people over 18 years of age who cannot get to the health center.
The Rehabilitation Unit's mission is, based on a person-centered approach, to work and develop collaboration for safe and secure care and rehabilitation for people within municipal healthcare services.

DUTIES
As an occupational therapist in Mölndal's city, you work mainly clinically where you independently and team-based identify and assess the patient's rehabilitation needs according to the occupational therapy process. You work in close collaboration with other professions in healthcare to provide safe and secure care.
The work involves making individual or team assessments of activity capacity and assessing and adapting the individual's home environment. You will assess needs, trial and prescribe assistive devices. Instructing and coaching relatives, home care and nursing staff in an activity-preserving approach is also part of the work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. Experience of working as an occupational therapist in municipal healthcare is meriting but not a requirement.

You take your tasks seriously, are committed to completing what you start, and ensure that work is carried out in the right way. For this position, you must show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You have an open and positive attitude as you have the patient's needs as the basis for your actions.
You have a strong commitment and enthusiasm for your work and take initiative and responsibility for the work to move forward. In addition, you have a good ability to work together with others to accomplish tasks and reach goals, and you strive for a respectful work environment. You understand the shared mission, act based on it and contribute to the whole.
A B driver's license is a requirement as car driving is part of the work duties.
We use computers and IT systems as work tools and therefore good computer skills are a prerequisite for daily work. You have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
The Rehabilitation Unit office is located at the pleasant and attractive Southern Gate business park next to E6/E20 with good transportation by car, bicycle, bus and train. There is proximity to green areas, restaurants and fitness facilities.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
