Aura Train & Rail is a new and specialized business unit within Aura Personal, created to meet the train and railway industry's rapidly growing need for the right expertise – both now and in the future. Right now we're looking for someone with experience as a signal technician who wants to work in a profession where your expertise really makes a difference. We have several current inquiries from our customers and would like to hear from you if you're driven by technical, socially important, and developmental work. Signal Technician - The Role: As a signal technician, you'll have a varied, social, and practical day-to-day experience. Much of the work is performed outdoors together with your team, often in close collaboration with other professional groups. The work primarily involves operation and maintenance, but new construction also occurs. The role also includes: Documentation and inspections Troubleshooting and fault reporting in various systems Work in safety-critical environments where precision and responsibility are essential We're looking for someone with: Approved upper secondary education with a focus on electrical or signal technology Approved basic signal training or ongoing training, such as BSG1, BSG2, and signal technical principles and fundamentals (BSGS) Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish B-class driver's license (manual transmission) It's highly advantageous if you have: Professional experience in signal technical work within railways Qualification as Electrical Safety Manager (track work, work equipment and track vehicles, low and extra-low voltage) Qualification as Inspector (TSM) for A-, L-, and E-protection and experience as a track worker Experience with ATC, associated equipment, and system functions (BSATC) Experience with or knowledge of ERTMS Since the position involves work in security-classified areas, a security clearance will always be conducted before an offer of employment is made.
