Are you ready to work in an essential service for society? District Veterinarians exist to ensure that all animals in Sweden have the opportunity to live as good a life as possible. With round-the-clock availability, clinics throughout the country, and unique expertise in animal health, we contribute to healthier animals and a safer life. As district veterinarians, we work on behalf of private individuals, businesses, and government agencies. We offer essential services for emergency animal care, disease control, and preventive measures for good animal health. Always with our feet on the ground and our hearts in the right place. District Veterinarians is part of the Swedish Board of Agriculture. Welcome to Mora! In Mora, we work together to develop and care for our fantastic customers in the beautiful nature of Dalarna. Our operation consists largely of small animals, but we also see great potential for development in field operations. The team consists of ten veterinarians and seven animal care assistants/veterinary nurses. We care deeply that all employees feel comfortable, enjoy their work, and have opportunities to develop. You are important to us – we help each other, we support you 100%, and we're delighted when you want to learn new things. Our team is diverse with many competent colleagues, several of whom have extensive experience in the profession, and we even have one of the country's leading small animal veterinary specialists on our team. If you want competent and cheerful colleagues, personal development, versatility in your profession, and arguably the country's best customers, then we're the right choice for you! 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a veterinarian at District Veterinarians in Mora, we can offer a learning environment with many experienced colleagues to consult. You will work with both small animals at our clinic and large animals in the field. If you have specialized knowledge or a particular interest, we would like to highlight it in the best way possible. On-call duty is a natural part of the position for all animal types and is part of District Veterinarians' mission. Adjusted scheduling allows for recovery around worked on-call periods. We are a relatively small clinic and you need to be flexible and self-motivated, open-minded, and willing to pitch in where needed. Since a large part of our operation consists of emergency care, no two days are alike. We desire excellent teamwork as we solve the clinic's tasks together in the best way. We are a clinic that constantly wants to improve and develop together. You will become a natural part of a resource that contributes to positive development and, with drive, leads the development toward set goals. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with Swedish veterinary credentials or a provisional veterinarian who will soon complete their training. Previous experience in the profession is a merit, as is a willingness to develop in both small animal and field operations. We want you to be engaged and solution-oriented to work for the team's best toward common goals. You are accommodating and attentive in your interactions to create good customer meetings and provide customers with a positive experience at our clinic. Since our operation partly consists of emergency care, a good eye for prioritization and work planning is required to create a good workflow during the workday. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, social competence, and seek an employee who values good cooperation and contributes to team spirit. Since we have ambulatory field operations, a Class B driver's license is required. Good Swedish language skills and solid computer proficiency are also fundamental requirements. We conduct ongoing selection and interviews, so don't hesitate to submit your application. Warm welcome with your application! Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement. Working hours: Scheduled. We care about our employees. Therefore, we give all employees at District Veterinarians the opportunity to benefit from various perks. Some examples include 28-35 days of vacation depending on your age, salary exchange, wellness allowance, and occupational health services. For you as a parent, we offer good conditions to find a good balance between work and family life, including parental leave supplement and the opportunity to reduce your working hours until your child is twelve years old. We strive for diversity among our employees. Our working language is Swedish, and our services require that you master Swedish both spoken and written. We normally apply a 6-month probationary period. In preparing for the recruitment process, District Veterinarians has made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore do not wish to be contacted by advertising sales representatives or recruitment firms.
