JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a veterinarian with us, you have the opportunity to work broadly and diversely with all animal species, while also having space to develop expertise in a specific animal species or area. We continuously strive for high quality in what we do, we enjoy learning from each other and sharing our knowledge and experience. We have 24/7 readiness year-round, which means night and weekend work are part of the position.
Sometimes you work alone, but you are never isolated. We are a large organization and support and advice from experienced colleagues is just a phone call away. During evenings and nights, there is always a manager on call (CiB) and our emergency phone line 9900 where staff receive calls from animal owners and coordinate contact with the relevant veterinarian. There is always a colleague to ask for advice, either a colleague on call (KiB) or at your own clinic or a nearby clinic.
We work continuously with competency development and see your development at work as our best investment.
Distriktsveterinärerna has clear treatment guidelines that provide good support in our clinical work. We also have a thoroughly developed hygiene policy for care hygiene that is important for us to follow.
QUALIFICATIONS
Driver's license with authorization for both automatic and manual transmission.
We are looking for someone with Swedish veterinary credentials.
To succeed in the role, you need to be structured, have good collaboration skills, and be solution-focused. It is important that you can work independently and be self-driven while also valuing collaboration with colleagues.
Furthermore, you need good computer skills and strong administrative ability since tasks such as scheduling and record-keeping are important parts of the work.
