Workshop Mechanic

In the role of workshop mechanic, you will work with manufacturing, assembly, service, and troubleshooting of advanced test machines, electric motors, and generators. Your work will primarily be in the company's modern workshop in Kungälv, but travel within Sweden and internationally may occur. Your main responsibilities: Build, assemble, and commission equipment and machinery in industrial environments Build and wire electrical cabinets according to electrical schematics and drawings Perform mechanical workshop work such as drilling, threading, cutting, and assembly Conduct electrical measurements, troubleshooting, and service work Handle incoming/outgoing goods, operate forklifts/hoists, and book outgoing freight according to procedure Service and repair electric motors and generators for customers in industrial and marine operations Order & Safety: Manage waste handling, daily workplace cleaning, and tool organization To succeed in this role, we believe you have: Electrical training or equivalent work experience Good knowledge of reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Experience with practical workshop work Good Swedish language skills, spoken and written Class B driver's license Meritorious: Perform balancing of rotors, fans, and other rotating machinery Welding skills in MIG and TIG Forklift & hoist certification We are looking for someone who is technically interested, solution-oriented, and enjoys varied work.
