Borås Truckservice, a subsidiary of Toyota Material Handling, is growing and now seeking a workshop technician who wants to be part of a small and family-oriented company with short decision-making paths, strong team spirit, and a good reputation for quickly being on-site and solving problems. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, appreciates variety, and is passionate about quality.
Your Responsibilities
In our workshop at Borås Truckservice, we are responsible for servicing and maintaining our rental and demo trucks, renovating used trucks, and customizing trucks for customers.
In your role as a workshop technician, you will work with everything from simple cleaning and servicing to comprehensive truck renovations. You work independently and are responsible for all steps in the process, from washing/cleaning, repair, to assembly and final painting. Work is performed according to agreed delivery times—always with quality and the customer in focus.
You will report to the Workshop Manager.

You are persistent and self-driven and have the ability to anticipate and prioritize tasks, ensuring work is completed on time and with correct quality.
You work methodically and can also perform under some pressure during busy periods.
You have vehicle technical or other comparable training/experience.
You should be able to handle English as many manuals are written in English.
Computer skills
Meritorious qualifications:
It is desirable that you have good knowledge of electrical/electronics, hydraulics, mechanics, and combustion engines.
Experience from similar work is a merit.
Good welding skills are a merit
