Workshop Mechanic – Travel Job with Accommodation and Meal Allowance North Mech AB is seeking additional workshop mechanics. We provide staffing services for workshops, service, and maintenance, and our mechanics work on-site at customer locations throughout Sweden. We are looking for someone with experience in mechanical work, who takes responsibility, and enjoys a job where no two days are the same. Job Duties The work varies depending on the customer and assignment, but may include: service and maintenance mechanical repairs troubleshooting disassembly and assembly replacement and repair of mechanical components work with vehicles and machinery standard workshop tasks You will work both independently and alongside the customer's staff. It is therefore important that you can quickly understand new tasks and adapt to new work environments. Who Are We Looking For? We are seeking someone with practical experience in mechanical work who feels confident working independently. Experience from, for example, vehicle workshops, heavy vehicles, buses, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, or similar is a plus. We would like to see that you: have experience in mechanical work have a genuine interest in mechanics and technology are self-motivated and take your own initiative enjoy troubleshooting and problem-solving are responsible and reliable work well with others can provide good references have a Category B driver's license are comfortable using computers and digital systems for work orders, documentation, and troubleshooting We place great importance on how you function as a person. For us, it is important that you take responsibility for your work and have the drive to find solutions when problems arise. Work at Another Location Our assignments are located at various places throughout Sweden, which means you will need to be able to work and stay overnight at another location during parts of or the entire work week. North Mech arranges and covers accommodation at the work location and pays for travel to and from the work location according to the arrangement for each assignment. For business travel with overnight stays, meal allowance is provided. The tax-free portion is calculated according to the Swedish Tax Agency's current regulations and standard amounts. Working hours and work periods may vary between different assignments.
