About the role As a Business Development Manager / IT Object Manager, you will have a central role in leading and developing our managed services objects, particularly within Education and Social Services. You will serve as the link between operations and IT, working closely with business representatives in schools and social services to translate needs into sustainable and efficient digital solutions. The role involves extensive networking where you collaborate with business representatives, steering committees, vendors, and internal specialist functions. You drive development initiatives, create structure, and help our member municipalities continue their digital transformation journey. You will be part of a team with three other business development managers where you collectively drive development, share experiences, and support each other. Here you'll have colleagues to brainstorm with and the opportunity to contribute your perspectives in an engaged and skilled team. Your responsibilities include: Ensuring governance through valid agreements with system vendors Leading and coordinating IT-related activities related to technology, security, and system management Convening the object manager group, planning meetings, setting agendas, and ensuring documentation and information sharing Monitoring and reporting status, results, and development within your objects to steering committees and portfolio management Preparing budget materials, following up, and making forecasts together with the finance manager Driving business development and change initiatives related to digitalization Supporting operations through change journeys and ensuring users and managers have the right conditions to succeed Your profile We're looking for someone who thrives in the space between operations and IT. You have the ability to see the bigger picture, understand how different systems and processes connect, and simultaneously build trusting relationships with those around you. You find technology exciting, although you don't need to be a technical specialist. What matters is that you understand the potential of technology and can translate it into business value. To succeed in this role, we believe you have: Experience in object management, business development, or similar coordinating roles Experience from municipalities, government agencies, or other public sector organizations Experience working with governance, collaboration, and change management Experience leading meetings, coordinating activities, and creating momentum Ability to communicate with operations, management, and technical specialists Experience with PM3 or similar management and governance models is an advantage As a person, you are structured, communicative, and relationship-building. You enjoy taking responsibility, creating order, and getting people to work toward common goals. About Itsam Itsam Municipal Association is responsible for municipal IT operations in the five member municipalities of Boxholm, Vimmerby, Ydre, Åtvidaberg, and Ödeshög. We are approximately 40 employees working with IT equipment service and support as well as operations within systems, networks, and telephony. Our mission is to meet the member municipalities' IT service needs and deliver them as efficiently as possible. We work together to meet society's demands for increased accessibility. Through a communicative approach, we support municipal operations in their transition to e-government. To meet these requirements and expectations, we conduct process-driven development work.
