As a Business Development Manager, you will become part of the central administration within the Development and Support Unit. Here, among others, school transportation coordinators, childcare coordinators, administrators, systems administrators, and operations controllers work. The unit's mission is to support and develop operations through qualified administration, analysis, and coordination. We strive to be a forward-thinking sector in a development-oriented municipality. We are now looking for a Business Development Manager with a focus on systematic quality work and data-driven analyses. Your Role As a Business Development Manager, you will become an important driving force in our quality and development work. You support the sector manager, operations managers, and principals by developing analyses, creating structures, and contributing to well-founded and data-based decision-making. You will have the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally in a long-term change process where your analytical perspective and ability to translate data into development make a concrete difference for students, employees, and management. Your responsibilities include: • Provide qualified and structured analytical support to the sector manager, operations managers, and principals to strengthen and develop operations. • Develop and implement effective structures, routines, and tools for data collection, analysis, and visualization. • Contribute to developing well-founded decision-making materials that support political, financial, and operational decisions. • Ensure that principals have access to quality-assured data to focus on educational leadership and development. • Follow up on goals, results, and equity within educational operations, and present analyses and improvement suggestions. • Coordinate and ensure quality in processes for data-driven school development based on facts and analysis. • Train and support staff in using data-driven methods and tools for business development. • Contribute to creating a culture where analysis, systematicity, and development are central parts of the work. • Drive municipality-wide development initiatives in collaboration with, for example, the Gothenburg Region (GR), universities, and colleges. • Follow up on new regulations and current research in the education sector. • Participate in relevant networks for quality development, for example within the Gothenburg Region (GR), to exchange and share experiences and knowledge. Who Are You? You have relevant academic education, preferably in pedagogy, political science, economics, statistics, or equivalent. You have experience working with data-driven business development, analysis, and quality work. Experience from educational operations is required. You possess strong analytical skills and experience working with qualified analyses, statistics, and fact-based reports. You have the ability to create structure and routines in complex operations and to translate analyses into practical development work. You are communicative and pedagogical, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support managers and staff in change processes. You are initiative-taking, solution-oriented, and experienced in driving development processes independently. You have excellent digital competence and experience using digital tools for data analysis and visualization.
