Tom Tits Experiment is seeking a business development manager and partnership lead with a background in natural sciences, technology, and/or sustainability. Tasks and Competency Requirements
In your role as business development manager and partnership lead, you are responsible for developing strategic partnerships that strengthen Tom Tits' mission and innovation capacity in natural science and technology, financing, and long-term relevance. You work both strategically and operatively to identify, develop, and manage partnerships with companies, organizations, municipalities, academia, and other societal stakeholders.
Organizationally, you report to the Marketing, Business Development & Sales unit, but the role is broad and spans large parts of the organization. The role also includes a pedagogical assignment where you, together with educators at Tom Tits, work to ensure scientific grounding in the development of exhibitions, school programs, events, and programs.
Examples of Work Tasks and Responsibilities
You:
drive strategic and operational partnership work
take responsibility for the partnership project process – from idea to implementation, project management, and follow-up, ensuring results are utilized and contribute to business development
work operatively with grant applications and financing – mapping, project management, and writing applications
represent Tom Tits through speaking engagements, participation in industry forums, local, national, and international networks
provide training as part of our educational mission, in collaboration with Tom Tits educators
Experience and Qualities
You are trustworthy and have strong self-motivation. You see opportunities and always keep the organization's mission and values in focus. Your foundation is in natural science, technology, and/or sustainability, preferably with academic training. You are perceived as an inspirational figure.

About Tom Tits Experiment
Tom Tits Experiment is an interdisciplinary Science Center whose mission is to create the joy of discovery for everyone by making natural science, technology, and sustainability accessible and enjoyable. In addition, Tom Tits is active in local, national, and international projects aimed at supporting schools in natural science, technology, and sustainable development. With just over 60 employees, we operate exhibitions, teacher training, our own preschool, restaurant, café, conference and event facilities, and a shop.
