JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a business development analyst focused on project and portfolio analysis, you'll become part of the investment department's support team, whose mission is to support important project operations at Stockholm Vatten och Avfall with tasks including monitoring and developing support systems and work methods! Your first assignment will be to ensure the success of a recently completed change initiative within investment and portfolio management with new work methods and procedures. You'll contribute by making sure all involved parties understand which work methods apply, what project information is relevant before and after investment decisions, and how various tasks are performed in our project tool (MS Project). In this role, you'll collaborate broadly across the entire company and will quickly build a large network. This is a permanent position beginning with a six-month probationary period, based at the head office in Ulvsunda, Bromma. Main responsibilities: • Analysis, monitoring, and data quality: Follow up and ensure good quality in, for example, schedules, budgets, and key metrics (KPIs) for ongoing projects in collaboration with our project managers. • Process development/user support: Support investigators, project managers, and decision-makers in existing work methods within investment projects. Improve methods and tools for project and portfolio management. • Reporting and administration: Create presentations, reports, and summaries for various decision forums and stakeholders to facilitate strategic decisions. Manage documentation and decision materials before and after decision meetings. • Resource and risk management: Assess risks in portfolios and, when needed, analyze other areas such as resource utilization. • Over time, you'll also work on development in other areas of the investment department's mission. QUALIFICATIONS This position suits you if you're likely early in your career and want to develop within analysis, monitoring, and business development. To succeed in this role, you have: • Higher education in, for example, systems science, data analysis, or engineering, or equivalent work experience • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel • Experience with user support and/or project work • Interest in developing within analysis, monitoring, and business development. It is advantageous if you have: • Worked as a power user or participated in development projects • Experience working with project management tools • Experience with data quality and monitoring of projects or project portfolios.
