We are seeking an engaged business development manager with focus on the church in Skaraborg and regional culture in Western Sweden. The position is based in Skövde.
Responsibilities
As a business development manager with us, you are responsible for developing and coordinating public education activities within the church in Skaraborg and regional culture in Western Sweden, in accordance with Sensus and state guidelines. You build and maintain relationships with congregations, cultural actors, and associations, and mentor groups and circle leaders.
Administration is an important part of the role. This means you continuously plan, budget, follow up, and document activities in a structured manner.
You are part of a base team located in Skövde and work in close collaboration with colleagues within and outside your team – locally, regionally, and nationally. In Sensus' new organization, work is organized based on tasks and needs, which means you contribute to a bigger picture than just your own area of responsibility.
We are looking for someone who
has experience from church, culture, public education, or civil society
is relationship-oriented, communicative, and skilled at building collaborations
has the ability to drive multiple processes in parallel and prioritize effectively
enjoys working independently as well as in close collaboration with colleagues
has experience with Sensus' profile areas, e.g., existential questions or norm awareness
has pedagogical experience and strong administrative abilities
is proactive, goal-oriented, and open to learning new things
Qualifications
relevant post-secondary education or equivalent qualification
documented pedagogical experience
B-class driver's license
Meritorious
network in the Swedish Church, cultural life, and civil society
experience planning and executing cultural events
knowledge and experience working with democracy and rights issues
experience working in project form from idea to completion
About the Position
Permanent employment with a six-month probationary period, full-time. Based in Skövde. Goal-based working hours – evening and weekend work as well as travel may occur. Collective agreement via Fremia and Unionen. Benefits: wellness compensation and wellness hour.
