JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a business development manager focused on developing school-business collaboration, you will work to create and maintain relationships and partnerships, thereby contributing to strengthening the region's competitiveness and future skills supply.
This may involve initiating and developing projects, organizing activities and meetings, and creating forums for experience exchange and knowledge transfer. The goal is to create meaningful collaborations that prepare students for the future workplace and prepare them for future educational choices.
As a person, you are driven by an interest in our activities. You want to drive the development of collaboration with the business community and find ways and methods to, in cooperation with other actors, increase motivation and inspire curiosity among children and young people about future career opportunities within the expanding technology sector. The position also includes serving as a local process leader for Technology College Karlskrona.
As a business development manager, you work both in teams and independently in the development unit within the development and operations support department. You also collaborate with other departments within cross-departmental groups and work closely with career counselors and school principals.
Through your strong communication skills, both verbal and written, you can convey and present information and materials to different audiences. You are self-motivated and take responsibility.
You are experienced in driving change initiatives that challenge current work methods and routines and have experience working in a process-oriented manner. You are confident in leading training sessions and workshops based on the department's operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
We are looking for someone who has:
• A teaching degree or other qualification that the employer deems equivalent.
• Competence in project management.
• Familiarity with Swedish education system guidelines as well as governance and accountability systems.
• Very strong ability to express yourself in writing and very strong oral communication skills.
• Experience in delivering lectures and presentations in an educational manner.
Meritorious for the position:
• Experience from the public sector with a focus on upper secondary education
• Experience collaborating with the business community.
