JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to strengthen the connection between school and working life and create more opportunities for students to gain knowledge about education, professions, and future careers?
We are seeking a business development specialist who will play a central role in developing and coordinating collaboration between schools and the workplace. The assignment involves maintaining established structures and working methods that make working life a natural part of students' education and help increase students' career choice competence.
You will work both strategically and operationally and have many contact points within schools, the municipality, the business sector, and other external actors.
Your responsibilities will include:
• develop and coordinate forms of collaboration between school and working life
• create and develop contacts with employers, companies, and organizations
• support schools' work on workplace integration based on the curriculum and collaboration with the surrounding society in the border region
• develop structures and working methods for long-term and equitable collaboration
• plan, implement, and follow up various projects, initiatives, and activities
• identify needs from both school operations and the workplace and convert them into concrete activities
• communicative efforts such as reporting, social media, and photography
• collaborate with managers, teachers, study and career counselors, and other relevant functions.

This position is a full-time temporary assignment for two years, with the possibility of extension.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with higher education that the employer deems relevant to the assignment. You have experience in development and collaboration work and are experienced in creating contacts, building relationships, and driving work together with others.
For this position, you need to:
• have experience independently planning, managing, and following up development work
• have a strong ability to create and develop collaborations with different actors
• have good digital competence
• have experience working with communicative initiatives
• be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• have a B-class driver's license
• it is a merit if you have experience from schools, the business sector, or work in the border area between education and working life.
