Program Development Officer – Public Education

As a Program Development Officer for ABF Värmland, you are the face of the organization, working with trust and responsibility based on the organization's operational plan, budget, established policies, and ABF's core values. We are looking for someone who feels confident working with senior activities and is closely connected to the association community, but who can also step in across other areas. You are responsible for developing study activities with study circles, cultural programs, and other activities within the department. A significant portion of your time will be spent on outreach activities toward existing and new partnership organizations and member organizations with the aim of creating public education activities. You support our partnership organizations by offering association training and activity development, and you ensure that our guidelines are followed. You work in close collaboration with other program development officers. To work as a Program Development Officer, you need to • be able to work independently • stand behind ABF's core values • work toward goals established by the organization • appreciate varied tasks • have local roots • have the ability to work evenings and weekends It is a merit if you - are active in association life - have experience working in a mission-driven organization Employment Terms You need to be able to travel throughout the region as our workplace covers all of Värmland and our associations are located in towns and communities of all sizes. The position requires a driver's license and access to a car. Start date by agreement. ABF has a collective agreement with the union Handelsanställdas förbund and we follow the Fremia Public Movement Organizations agreement. Interviews may be conducted on a rolling basis.
