The Department of Common Reception and Services is one of five departments and consists of nine units. The department is responsible for the first contact with both citizens and professionals who may need social services support. Counseling, authority management, services with and without needs assessment are some of the main areas of responsibility. Services are provided both individually and in groups to children and adults. The department is also responsible for budget and debt counseling as well as investigating estates.
Since 2022, the department has developed operations with the help of service design in order to utilize the knowledge that citizens have and thereby become a more open and accessible social service with the new Social Services Act as a guideline. The development work has resulted in new work methods and a new culture. Today, the administration is sought after in national contexts to share the development work that is underway.

WORK DUTIES
As an Operations Coordinator, you will contribute to ensuring that the administration fulfills its mission within the framework of applicable legislation, governing documents, strategies, and financial frameworks.
You will, in consultation with the unit manager, provide close case supervision and daily support to employees.
Within the framework of supervision, you are expected to engage and motivate employees toward renewal and development and work to ensure that the department's goals are achieved.
You identify development and training needs within the administration's processes and work closely with the operations developer on these matters.
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for developing and ensuring internal collaboration so that it is perceived as seamless for the individual.
You will also work to develop and maintain external collaboration. The role requires that you are well familiar with the social administration's mission and offerings and have good knowledge of the social services mission and other collaborating administrations' and authorities' responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
• A degree in Social Work
• Experience of at least 3 years as a social worker or other equivalent experience that the employer deems relevant
• Active experience with authority management according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act with Special Provisions on the Care of Young People
• Strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing
Additional qualifications:
• Experience with quality work, method support, and operations-based work
• Active experience with LVU and/or LVM
• Experience with coordinated assignments, implementation of work methods, and support to managers and social workers within social services authority management
