We do this together, with commitment, responsibility and openness – and we are proud of it. We are now looking for a business-aligned systems developer for the Digitalization and Project Management department. The department is part of the Municipal Management Office and consists of 12 dedicated employees. In our group, we work closely together to drive the municipality's digital development, realize political goals and strengthen welfare, while placing great emphasis on a work environment where everyone thrives and enjoys themselves. We work with project management, service development, digitalization, information security, coordination and systems administration. We are a business-oriented support in the municipality's digital journey – from needs analysis and requirements specification to implementation, management and further development of digitalization and systems administration. Together with the business units, we develop existing systems, ensure good functionality and positive user experience, and drive the implementation of new solutions. Östhammars Municipality is a member of a unique collaboration with Heby, Knivsta, Tierp and Älvkarleby municipalities through a common IT Board and IT Center. Together we drive digital development and coordinate IT-related business development across municipal boundaries. Within Systems Administration, we manage both overarching support systems and business systems. As a systems administrator, you have primary responsibility for ensuring that our systems meet business needs and serve as the primary contact point between the business units and vendors. You also collaborate closely with our shared IT Center, which is responsible for infrastructure, networks and operational support. In short, you become the hub that connects business requirements, vendor deliveries, system functionality and contact with the IT Center. 1 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES The role is varied and includes, among other things: • Take responsibility for the entire lifecycle and management of the municipality's business systems from requirements, design, testing and deployment to ongoing maintenance. • Serve as primary contact for both system owners and end users; gather requirements, prioritize features and ensure a positive user experience. • Create and deliver training, manuals and support materials, and provide support as needed. • Manage permissions and ensure access control. • Administer issues in the issue management system, prioritize, follow up and ensure they are closed according to SLA. • Lead and participate in cross-functional meetings and workshops. • Primary contact for vendors regarding changes, bug reports, upgrades and operational support. • Participate in system procurements, formulate requirements and follow up on implementation. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives: identify improvement areas, propose and implement solutions. • Stay updated on technical trends and new opportunities within system development. QUALIFICATIONS You should have a university degree in computer science, information systems or other equivalent education. You can write and express yourself fluently in Swedish and possess good knowledge of deploying and managing IT systems. Furthermore, it is important that you can combine a deep understanding of business operations with strong technical understanding, so that you both see the big picture and master the technical details. You should also have a genuine interest in business systems and digital working methods in the public sector. Desirable qualifications: • Experience implementing new systems. • Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM). • Previous work in municipal operations. • Knowledge of Microsoft365 administration. • Project management experience. • Basic understanding of information security and GDPR. We place great emphasis on personal qualities, and there are some characteristics we would like you to possess. You are collaborative and develop effective and supportive relationships with colleagues, contributing to the experience that we work together. You take initiative and start activities to achieve results. In addition, we appreciate if you are creative and bring new ideas and perspectives, and have innovative thinking that can be put into practice. Employment type: Permanent employment.
