The Employment and Adult Education Administration works to ensure more Botkyrka residents have the conditions to achieve financial independence through work, studies, or other paths to a self-directed life. The Administration is responsible for the municipality's labor market initiatives, daily activities, adult vocational education, vocational higher education, and study and career guidance. As of the new year, the gymnasium will become part of the Administration, strengthening the connection between education, the labor market, and skills supply. The Administration has approximately 400 employees and will grow to nearly 800 after the new year. Through collaboration with businesses, educational providers, and other actors, we develop activities that meet both individual and labor market needs. The Position and Responsibilities We are seeking an Operations Manager for Training and Competence, a unit that offers activities and work training for persons subject to the activity requirement. As an Operations Manager, you have operational leadership responsibility and work to create a well-functioning unit where participants receive support to develop and move forward. In this role, you lead and allocate daily work for work instructors, group activity leaders, and occupational therapists, and follow up on employees' work and development. You also have responsibility for monitoring participants' progress, identifying support needs, and ensuring these are addressed appropriately. An important part of the assignment is collaborating with social workers in economic assistance and with Reception and Navigation to identify participant needs, follow up on interventions, strengthen collaboration between units, and develop common working methods. To support follow-up and unit development, you prepare statistics and materials for the unit manager. You do not have formal personnel or budget responsibility, but have a central role in managing and supporting employees in daily work. Here work instructors, occupational therapists, and other professionals work together to create services for participants both in groups and individually. The work is characterized by close collaboration where the practical everyday experience is central to individual development, and where dialogue and joint planning are important for creating coherence and progress. About You We are looking for you with an academic degree as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other relevant higher education degree. Other requirements: Experience with operational leadership, including leading and allocating work and following up on and developing employees. Experience working with labor market initiatives. Knowledge of the activity requirement and how it affects the unit's work. Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Good digital competence and experience working in activity management systems. It is advantageous if you have: Experience with the activity management system Edvent. Experience with scheduling and activity planning. Training or experience in motivational interviewing (MI). Training or experience in Supported Employment (SE) or Individual Placement and Support (IPS). We are looking for you who enjoy leading close to operations and creating structure in daily work.
