The security work is based on the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's management system for security, which the Security department is responsible for developing and maintaining. The Security department's responsibilities include security protection, information security, crisis preparedness, sector responsibility, and incident management. Security Protection, Security-Protected Procurement All employees within the Security department have a primary focus on one of our areas of responsibility. As a security protection expert and operations developer within security protection, you will be part of the strategic security area and the position is primarily focused on work within security protection, but you will also work with other security-related tasks. You will work to increase knowledge and awareness within the agency regarding security protection and contribute your expertise in the field internally. In your role as security protection expert, your task is to work together with other colleagues to ensure in a structured manner and continuously further develop the agency's work within security protection. As a security protection expert, you will work to identify, document, and assess assets requiring protection. The work involves extensive internal collaboration both within the department and across the agency to provide operations with adequate support and clarity, as well as external cooperation with other agencies and organizations. Furthermore, you will help develop the agency's work with security protection and related processes, such as security-protected procurement. Your work also includes assisting colleagues with monitoring and guidance regarding external operators. To succeed in this role, you need to be an independent team player with strong abilities to interpret, evaluate, and handle complex and sensitive information and be able to conduct analyses and prioritizations based on that. You are thorough and have high integrity, confident in yourself so that you can make independent assessments, drive processes, and take initiatives. Availability, good service, information, guidance, and delivery should characterize your work. You should also be communicative, thorough, and have a high security awareness. The position involves handling classified information, which places high demands on proper handling. It is a job for you who want to take responsibility.
