We are now seeking an operations manager who wants to help lead our operations forward. With a focus on quality, work environment, and sustainable development, you will have the opportunity to navigate an operation where both working methods and conditions are continuously being developed. Our Offer Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, 4 on-call centers, Health Center Finspång, migration health, child health care unit, 1177 by telephone, and a general medical training center. We conduct broad primary care activities where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children and adolescents, adults and the elderly. Primary care is the hub of healthcare, and our ambition is for primary care to be every citizen's natural and first point of access to healthcare. Kisa and Österbymo Health Centers are two well-functioning rural health centers within Primary Care Centre in Region Östergötland, with close collaboration and a shared ambition to offer good and accessible care with high quality, accessibility and continuity. Together we are responsible for approximately 9,000 and 3,000 listed patients respectively and provide primary care with great breadth, flexible solutions and well-functioning collaboration with municipal home care services. At the unit, specialist physicians in general medicine are trained and through the health university, students from several different healthcare programs are admitted. Please read about your benefits with us; you will also find information about regulations regarding salary and compensation. Job Description As operations manager, you lead, plan and develop operations at Kisa and Österbymo Health Centers, which together constitute a shared operational area with a joint collaboration group. You have overall responsibility for budget, personnel, work environment, patient safety and medical quality. You are the face of the operation externally in collaboration with other healthcare providers and with authorities such as the municipality, school, and social services. Together with two care unit managers and the operation's staff, you translate the operation's goals into daily work with a focus on maintaining and developing the operation. In this role, you have the opportunity to combine the position with working clinically up to 50% in your basic profession within healthcare, provided it is part of the health center's work. This way you gain good insight into the health center's operations and can maintain a foot in patient-facing work. As operations manager, you also contribute to the joint development of primary care within Region Östergötland. Your closest colleagues are other operations managers at region-operated health centers in central Östergötland. You are part of the primary care management forum and report directly to the primary care area manager. Work Group We are 50 and 13 employees respectively at the health centers who enjoy working together in an open work climate. Our operations play an important role in the community and meet a wide variety of medical issues, from preventive measures and follow-up of chronic diseases to acute care needs. Due to the distance to the nearest hospital, primary care has a prominent and significant function, which creates both special challenges and great opportunities to develop safe and accessible care, including in patients' homes when needed. Our operations include, among other things, physician consultations, Child Health Care Center, counseling services, dietitian consultations, rehabilitation coordinator, district nurse and nurse consultations, nursing assistant consultations, and medical foot care. In close collaboration with Kinda Municipality, we conduct home care assistance activities, and as one of few municipalities in Östergötland, we have a number of on-site care beds. About You We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in healthcare such as nursing or medicine. Experience working in healthcare is a requirement and experience from primary care is particularly valuable. We would like you to be well familiar with the requirements and challenges that a rural health center faces. You have experience working as a manager, in a management position or other leadership experience. You master Swedish and English in both speech and writing as the work tasks require this. You have good leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and build good relationships. You create direction, engagement and participation and drive development with a focus on quality, sustainability and the operation's mission with broad involvement. You collaborate well with others and communicate in a responsive and clear manner. You are structured, solution-oriented and trust the knowledge that exists among all professions at the health center. As a person, you adapt easily to changed circumstances. Furthermore, you have a holistic perspective and contribute to ensuring that the health center's resources are used in the best possible way. As a person you are confident, stable and have self-awareness. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Application and Employment Interviews are planned to be conducted during week 42. The management position is a fixed-term appointment for four years. Start date by agreement. Before employment in a patient-facing role at Region Östergötland, you will be required to complete a health declaration. We warmly welcome your application! If you need help registering in the system, contact Customer Service Support and Service, 010-103 60 00, during office hours. To staffing, placement and recruitment firms and to you who are a salesperson: We politely but firmly decline direct contact from staffing, placement and recruitment firms and other external parties and sellers of additional job advertisements.
