We are now looking for an operations manager who wants to help lead our health center forward. With a focus on quality, work environment, and sustainable development, you will have the opportunity to navigate a business where both work methods and conditions are continuously evolving. Our Offer Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, 4 emergency centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, migrant health services, the child health care unit, 1177 by phone, and a general medical education center. We conduct broad primary care services where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children and adolescents, adults, and seniors. Primary care is the hub of health and medical care, and our ambition is for primary care to be every citizen's natural and first point of entry into health and medical services. Kungsgatan Health Center is part of the Primary Care Center (PVC) in Region Östergötland and is centrally located in Linköping near the central station in newly renovated facilities. Our operations include a doctor's office, a Child Health Care Center, a counseling clinic, a dietitian clinic, rehabilitation coordinator, district nurse and nurse clinic, nursing assistant clinic, and medical foot care. In total, we have approximately 45 employees and approximately 13,000 registered patients. Please read about our benefits, where you will also find information about salary and compensation regulations. Job Description As operations manager, you will have a central role in leading and developing the business, with a great opportunity to make a difference for both employees and patients. Together with the care unit manager, medical director, and other employees, you will create the conditions for a well-functioning, safe, and development-oriented health center. For Kungsgatan Health Center, you will be responsible for budget, personnel, work environment, patient safety, and medical quality. Your role is valuable as you, together with your employees, translate the business's goals into daily work and focus on developing and improving the operations. As operations manager, you will also contribute to the joint development of primary care within Region Östergötland. At Region Östergötland, you can continue to develop as a manager and leader. We offer leadership development programs for managers at different levels that provide knowledge, tools, and courage to develop in your role as a leader. If you have education within health and medical care, there is an opportunity to combine the management assignment with a certain percentage of your position in your base profession. Your closest colleagues are other operations managers at region-operated health centers in central Östergötland (Linköping, Kisa, Åtvidaberg, and Ydre). You are part of the primary care management forum and report directly to the primary care area manager. Work Team We are employees with high expertise; employees with long and solid experience mixed with colleagues who are newer to primary care—a good mix that contributes to good quality and development. Our goal is for all employees to enjoy their work, and we are convinced that good satisfaction is evident in patient encounters. Our ambition is to offer all patients care of the highest possible quality. We have Doctor Teleq, an emergency team, and a doctor inquiry function. About You We are looking for someone with a university degree and several years of experience as a manager or leader within health and medical care. It is an advantage if you have experience working in primary care and are well acquainted with the demands and challenges that a health center faces. You must have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as the work requires this. You have situational leadership skills and the ability to adapt your support based on your employees' needs, experience, and competence. You lead a competent and independent work team by building trust, fostering team spirit, and leveraging each employee's strengths and perspectives. By recognizing and involving employees, you create participation, collaboration, and shared responsibility for the business's development. You have a good ability to lead through change, inspire, and make wise decisions that help achieve common goals. As a leader, you motivate your employees and create conditions for driving the business forward. You are calm, stable, and trust-building in your work—even when the pace is high or conditions change in both administrative and development processes. Furthermore, you collaborate well with others, listen, and communicate in an attentive and clear manner while having the ability to understand another person's perspective. As operations manager, you see the whole picture and consider the larger perspective. You understand your role but prioritize the overall business's best interests in your actions and decisions. You bring ideas and new ways of working on work-related matters and contribute innovative thinking that leads to results. Application and Employment Interviews are planned to be conducted during week 40. Before employment in patient-facing work within Region Östergötland, you will be asked to complete a health declaration. We warmly welcome your application! If you need help registering in the system, contact Customer Service Support and Service at 010-103 60 00 during office hours. To staffing, placement, and recruitment companies and to those who are salespeople: We kindly but firmly decline direct contact from staffing, placement, and recruitment companies and other external parties and sellers of additional job postings.
