It's about health and healthcare, about our region's development, and about the people who live and work here. We want to continue being at the forefront with healthcare, research, and education. Therefore, we offer unique opportunities for continuous learning and invest in modern environments with efficient systems and tools. Job Description As Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, staff, and finances. You lead the clinic's management group and collaboration group and ensure that the operation develops and contributes to achieving established goals through good collaboration with managers, staff, and union representatives. You will be part of the Psychiatry Center's management group and, together with your operations colleagues in the region, continue developing future adult psychiatry. The goal is for it to be accessible and efficient, with high quality, and to create value in our meetings with those we serve. You will also have a significant and important role in Region Östergötland's transformation based on the comorbidity reform and in the development of the system leadership that needs to be strengthened together with municipal partners and other collaborating actors. You report to the Production Unit Manager for the Psychiatry Center. Travel within the region may occur. Work Team You will be part of a management group with five care unit managers, chief physicians, management secretary, HR, and economist. The group works closely together and shares responsibility for the clinic's development. The group provides good support, experience sharing, and a shared commitment to driving operations forward. You are the direct manager for the care unit managers, physicians, and a management secretary. About You We are looking for someone with an academic degree in healthcare or other university education that the employer considers relevant for the role. You have worked as a manager and have strong ability to lead operations, staff, and development work. Experience managing managers is a merit, as is experience working in the public sector. Since the role involves extensive communication, collaboration, and documentation, you must have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We are looking for a confident and stable leader with good self-awareness and the ability to build trusting relationships. You collaborate well with others, communicate clearly, and create engagement and participation in your work groups. You work in a structured manner, plan and prioritize effectively, and make well-founded decisions based on analysis, operational needs, and available information. You are confident in making decisions and stand by them while remaining open to new perspectives when circumstances change. Furthermore, you are goal- and results-oriented and able to adapt your leadership and work approach based on changing needs and circumstances. Application and Employment Interviews will be held on August 28 and September 2. The management position is a fixed-term assignment for four years (which can be extended), and you will be offered permanent employment in your base profession. Before employment in patient-facing work within Region Östergötland, you will be asked to complete a health declaration. We warmly welcome your application!
