About the Operation The Medical Clinic in Falun is one of the region's largest clinics with 380 employees. The clinic is characterized by strong commitment, high expertise, and a good collaborative climate. Our mission is to provide specialized care to adults with acute and chronic diseases within internal medicine with subspecialties in pulmonary, allergy, kidney, hematology, gastrointestinal, and endocrine diseases, as well as neurology. We also have a large acute medicine assignment that we share with the cardiology and infectious disease clinics. We are organized in sections with eight specialist outpatient clinics and two inpatient wards, as well as a secretariat unit. We have extensive education and continuing education activities with students of various categories and work with continuous competency development of employees, while placing great emphasis on patient safety and work environment issues as well as operational development. As specialist care is provided closer to the patient, collaboration with other stakeholders is central to the clinic. Job Responsibilities As operations manager, you lead the clinic together with engaged department and medical directors and in close collaboration with other clinics. You have personnel, budget, and operational responsibility and work to ensure that the operations maintain high quality of care, patient safety, and cost-effectiveness. You drive development and improvements both within your operation and from a holistic perspective that strengthens the entire care chain, through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Ongoing work toward good and accessible care permeates the operation, and you have an important role in promoting a sustainable and secure work environment for all employees. You also lead labor union collaboration at the clinic and build good relationships with labor union representatives. As operations manager, you report to the Division Manager for Medicine and are part of the management team, where you are expected to contribute to the development of healthcare. This position involves a permanent employment in your basic profession with a fixed-term appointment as manager for four years. Qualifications Requirements Higher education in healthcare Experience working in healthcare Experience as a manager, preferably managing other managers Merits Experience with outpatient and inpatient care in a similar operation Licensed physician or nurse You are a person who values others' perspectives, seeks continuous feedback, and leverages others' expertise.
