Operations Manager at Gabriellas Hemtjänst in Stockholm

Gabriellas Hemtjänst is seeking a confident, engaged, and communicative operations manager with experience in supervisory leadership within home care services. As operations manager, you will have a central role in the organization and be responsible for the day-to-day operations. You will be present and involved in the business and lead and organize work so that our customers receive safe and high-quality home care services. You will be part of Gabriellas Hemtjänst's management team and work closely with employees, customers, family members, case managers, and other collaborative partners. Responsibilities As operations manager, you are responsible for, among other things: lead, plan, and monitor daily operations, take responsibility for personnel, finances, and operational matters, recruit and onboard personnel, conduct employee and salary reviews and work with rehabilitation issues, ensure a good working environment and good working conditions, guide, support, and motivate employees, ensure that staff have the right competence for their tasks, work systematically with quality, monitoring, and development, ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations, agreements, and procedures, maintain contact and dialogue with customers and their family members, collaborate with case managers, primary care, and other relevant actors, contribute to development, digitalization, and continuous improvements in the operations. The responsibilities align closely with Stockholm City's requirements for the person responsible for day-to-day operations, including recruitment, competence development, working environment, and planning, monitoring, and development of operations. Requirements We are looking for someone who has: appropriate higher education or university degree, for example in social work, at least 24 months of continuous full-time practical experience in operational supervisory leadership within home care, encompassing both service and care, experience with financial, personnel, and operational responsibility within the scope of the supervisory experience, the above supervisory experience acquired within the past seven years, in-depth and current knowledge of the laws, regulations, directives, and general recommendations that apply within the field, experience in administration and good computer skills, very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing. These requirements have been formulated to correspond with Stockholm City's qualification requirements for the person responsible for day-to-day operations. Meritorious It is meritorious if you have: experience in home care within Stockholm City, experience of working within LOV, experience with Stockholm City's business systems, experience in systematic quality work, experience with budget and result responsibility, experience in change and development work within elderly care.
