Härjedalens Municipality is seeking an Operations Manager who will have an exciting and important role in our organization. Responsibilities As Operations Manager, you report directly to the Social Director and are part of the social administration's management team. You also have personnel responsibility for the municipality's nursing staff and provide close support to the manager of the rehabilitation unit. Together with the medically responsible nurse (MAS), you ensure that the municipality's health and medical care is conducted with high quality and in accordance with applicable legislation. In your role, you are responsible for leading, coordinating, and developing the municipality's health and medical care operations. You work strategically and operatively with a focus on quality care, patient safety, operations development, and financial sustainability. Your responsibilities include: Lead, coordinate, and develop the municipality's health and medical care operations. Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, political goals, and established quality requirements. Ensure that the municipality's health and medical care maintains high quality throughout the municipality in close collaboration with MAS and ensure that MAS directives are followed. Manage budget, financial monitoring, and resource planning. Drive development and change initiatives to meet future needs and create long-term sustainable operations. Lead, allocate, and follow up on work within the nursing staff and create good conditions for employee development and work environment. Provide support to nurses and the medically responsible nurse in complex care-related matters and deviations. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create efficient working methods and good care quality. Contribute to the social administration's strategic development as a member of the management team. Qualifications We are looking for someone with experience in leadership and financial management at a strategic level, as well as a good understanding of the health and medical care mandate and regulations. You have the ability to create structure, lead change initiatives, and make well-founded decisions. You work based on trust but can also provide clear directives when needed. For this position, you must have: Relevant university education with licensure as a nurse, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist. Experience working within health and medical care. Experience in a managerial or leadership role. Experience with budget responsibility and financial management. Good knowledge of relevant legislation. Class B driver's license. It is advantageous if you: Have experience from a similar operations manager role, preferably within municipal health and medical care. Have experience with change and development initiatives.
