You are a present manager who leads the operation in close collaboration with staff and service users and drives the development of a modern, safe, and person-centered municipal health and social care. About the Assignment As operations director, you are responsible for municipal health and social care within disability services. You lead the operation for the municipality's licensed health and social care personnel, consisting of nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. The operation includes group homes and service apartments, day activities, and social psychiatric services where the municipality is responsible for health and social care. You are a visible and present leader who works closely with the operation, staff, and service users. You combine a strategic perspective with operational responsibility and contribute your clinical expertise when the operation needs it. Through your leadership and expertise, you create conditions for safe, secure, and person-centered care. In the role, you meet service users, support staff and managers in complex care issues, and drive development work where improvements are created together with the operation. You actively contribute to developing care quality, working methods, and collaboration, with a focus on service users' needs and the operation's long-term development. You are part of the area's management group and report to the area director. Your Responsibilities You have operational, personnel, working environment, and budget responsibility for the municipality's licensed health and social care personnel within disability services. In the assignment, you work closely with operations managers, unit managers, group leaders, MAS, MAR, support coordinators, and other support functions. As operations director, you are responsible for: leading, developing, and monitoring the operation against set goals ensuring good and safe care, high quality, and patient safety leading, coaching, and developing managers and licensed staff, and ensuring long-term competency provision combining the management assignment with an operational responsibility as a licensed nurse and supporting the operation in complex care situations responsible for budget, finances, working environment, and operation monitoring driving systematic quality and improvement work together with service users, staff, and managers developing collaboration with Region Stockholm and other healthcare providers driving digitalization, new working methods, and the transition to Close-to-home care Qualifications We are seeking someone who is a licensed nurse and has an academic degree that the employer deems relevant for the assignment. You have several years of experience in management and leadership work with responsibility for personnel, operations, working environment, and budget. We also see that you have experience in municipal health and social care and a good understanding of the laws and regulations governing the operation, such as the Health and Medical Care Act, the Patient Safety Act, LSS, and SoL. To succeed in the role, you need to have experience leading quality and development work and driving change processes in complex organizations. You have a good understanding of finances and can convert operational goals into concrete results. The role also requires that you have very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. Personal Qualities We are seeking a confident and trustworthy operations director who creates engagement and participation through present leadership. You are clear in your communication, have a structured working approach, and the ability to build trusting relationships both within your own operation and with external collaborators. The role requires that you can switch between strategic thinking and operational work. You thrive with being close to the operation, supporting staff and managers in everyday situations, and at the same time driving long-term development. Through an unpretentious and inclusive approach, you create good collaboration between different professions and operations. We particularly value that you have the ability to drive development and change together with your staff and that you work goal-oriented with a focus on quality, patient safety, and the service user's best interests.
