JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Our current Operations Director for Preschool has chosen to retire, so we are now seeking her successor. In this role, you have overall responsibility for operations, which includes development, coordination, personnel, finance, and results responsibility. The position reports to the Director of Administration and is part of the Education Administration's management team, which consists of other school forms. It also includes ongoing dialogue with the Education Board. An important part of the work is that you have both the will and ability to strive for organizational benefit. The Operations Director leads operations that currently consist of fourteen managers. Together, you will develop operations within the Education Administration so that it is prepared for changes that may affect our organization in the future. As Operations Director, you are expected to work closely with other Operations Directors within the administration and also with external stakeholders. Within our organization, the Operations Director has: • overall responsibility for personnel • personnel responsibility for principals • responsibility for coordination and allocation of finances, management resources, and assignments between units based on need and mandate • overall responsibility for and coordination of the operations' work environment, facility matters, results and quality follow-up, and joint development work • overall operational responsibility for child matters • responsibility for initiating and driving improvement areas based on political objectives • responsibility for the operations' management team and possibly other operations-wide forums QUALIFICATIONS • Pedagogical education at university level • Completed principal training • You must have previous management experience, preferably from one of the operational areas included in the position • Languages – Swedish and English • It is advantageous if you have experience managing managers As a manager, you build trust and security among employees by unpretentiously showing a credible image of yourself.
