JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As Operations Manager for Support and Development, you lead a strategic operational area with responsibility for the administration's overall development and support functions.
Your responsibilities include:
• Student welfare and mother tongue activities through subordinate managers
• Nature school operations
• The administration's systematic quality work
• Research and development matters
• Environmental monitoring, analysis, and follow-up
• Cooperation with universities, colleges, the region, and national networks
Together with the Director and other Operations Managers, you drive strategic development work and ensure that national policy documents and political goals are implemented as results in the operations.
You have overall responsibility for operations, finances, working environment, and personnel, and you lead and develop managers and specialist functions within your area. The assignment also includes presenting matters and submitting reports to the Education Committee.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• A degree with a focus on education or pedagogy
• Completed principal training
• Several years of experience in a leadership position within the education sector
• Good experience working in a politically governed organization
It is meritorious if you have:
• Experience managing managers
• Advanced academic education in pedagogy, school development, or education management
• Experience with strategic quality and development work at the principal level
To succeed in this role, you are a clear and strategic leader with strong analytical skills. You are experienced in achieving results through others, build good relationships, and have the ability to navigate between politics, operations, and the profession. You thrive in cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders and communicate well both orally and in writing.
Employment type: Permanent position.
