About the position In your role as Business Architect, you will have a central role in ensuring that our new IT solutions align with our business needs and that processes, information, and systems are developed from a strategic and long-term perspective. You will work on digitalization of how we operate within our facility projects, for example more efficient handling of project information. The Business Architect works at an overarching level analyzing development needs for IT support based on business needs, both short and long term. The position will also include: Develop strategic and long-term plans for IT support within the area of Facility Projects and Planning, and ensure that development aligns with business needs and target architecture. Drive the work in close collaboration with operations and development managers, strategic business architect, IT architects, information managers, and product owners. Operationally support the execution of needs analyses and requirements definition. Participate in translating business needs into solutions. Prepare current state and target architecture descriptions at both overarching and more detailed levels. Coordinate architecture work with the Grid Division's target architecture and principles. The position is placed in the Digital Project Support unit, which is part of the Facility Investments department at Swedish transmission system operator's Grid Division. The unit consists of six employees working as operations managers and product owners, among other roles. About you Required qualifications: We are looking for someone who is results-oriented and has the ability to drive work forward and deliver with quality. You are structured and find it easy to organize, prioritize, and create clarity in complex contexts. The role involves many contact points, which means you need to be collaborative and good at building strong relationships and communicating clearly and pedagogically with different target groups. You also have: At least 10 years of experience working at the intersection of IT and business operations Many years of experience with IT, information, or business architecture work Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
