About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now recruiting additional staff members. We are the authority responsible for correctional facilities, probation services, detention centers, and client transport. The Operations Support and Analysis Division is tasked with developing and managing the Prison Service's client administration systems for probation, detention, and correctional facilities so that they support client-centered work and provide functional system support for users, while also meeting the information needs of internal and external stakeholders with quality-assured data. Job Description We would appreciate if you have solid experience with client administration tasks in the Prison Service's core operations, particularly within correctional facilities and detention centers. We also believe you feel confident explaining to others how the execution of sentences works, where you have worked or previously worked. As an Operations Analyst, you will have the opportunity to use your prison service experience and knowledge to develop system support – and assist employees who use these systems in their work. The role involves participating in various development projects where you, together with colleagues, analyze the organization's needs, translate these into requirements, and conduct tests to ensure that the system support meets expectations during development and change initiatives. The position is located at the Prison Service's headquarters in Norrköping within the National Department for Content and Development, with the possibility of being placed at the regional office in Stockholm or Malmö. We are looking for you who have: Higher education or other post-secondary education combined with experience that the Prison Service considers relevant for the position Several years of experience working within the Prison Service Experience from work within the Prison Service's core operations Experience of having worked in depth with several of the Prison Register's different subsystems and understand their function Very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish Good knowledge of MS-Office It is also meritorious to have: Led and driven projects or assignments Worked with cross-agency issues within the justice system Managed system support, procedures, and/or governing documents Experience with process mapping Experience in delivering training Experience in developing operational requirements Very good knowledge of the sentencing process, the sanctions system, and prison service legislation.
