Manufacturing Operations Manager

We are a stable Czech engineering company based in the Trutnov region with approximately 90 employees. We have a complete technological chain – from laser cutting and punching through machining and welding to wet and powder coating and assembly. We are looking for a hands-on colleague who can manage effectively, make independent decisions, and be a natural authority for our team. What will be your responsibilities? Direct management of 3 supervisors: Your role is not to do their job, but to lead and coordinate them in a humane and organized manner. Production planning and coordination: Ensuring the flow of orders through the company so that processes connect seamlessly, delivery deadlines are met, and quality is maintained. Process optimization: Monitoring efficiency, tracking defect rates, and working with our information system (ERP). Communication with management: Reporting production results directly to the company owner. What do we expect from you? Experience managing people in production: A position as supervisor, shift leader, or production manager in engineering is a must. Organizational talent and logical thinking: The ability to see production as a cohesive system and anticipate issues. Natural authority and fairness: The ability to communicate with both shop floor employees and management. Basic PC skills: Working with ERP systems and Excel should not be intimidating for you. What do we offer? Salary from 70,000 CZK gross (depending on your experience, composed of a fixed base and a performance-based component tied to timely delivery and quality).
