We're looking for a new team member for a key position: Director of Services and Social Worker for our shelter and overnight accommodation facility. What will you do with us? o Lead and motivate a team; you will be a support for social services workers (direct care) and coordinate the operations of the shelter and overnight accommodation. o Guide clients by providing social counseling, assisting clients with administrative matters at government offices, finding housing or employment, and motivating them to resolve their situations. o Monitor quality and ensure our services operate in compliance with Act No. 108/2006 Coll. and quality standards for social services. o Manage administration, maintain client documentation, prepare shift schedules, and contribute to the development of the service. What do we expect from you? o Education requirements: Meeting the qualification for a social worker according to § 110 of Act No. 108/2006 Coll. (secondary specialized school or university degree in social work, social pedagogy, special pedagogy, etc.). o Leadership and diplomatic skills: Empathy combined with the ability to set firm boundaries (work with the target group requires stress resilience and assertiveness). o Professional approach: Respect for client dignity, sense of justice, and teamwork. o Professional experience in the field (ideally in a leadership position or homelessness services) is a significant advantage but not a requirement—we're happy to train you. o Clean criminal record. What do we offer you? o Full-time employment contract (1.0 FTE) o Salary according to pay scales o Personal bonus after probationary period o 200 hours of vacation + 24 hours of personal leave, available after probationary period o Meal allowance of 100,- Kč o Annual contribution of 2,000,- for pharmacy purchases, 1,000,- for books o Social and cultural events twice a year o Support for further education and development (peer consultation, supervision, training courses, etc.) o Fixed-term contract with possibility of conversion to indefinite employment Place of work Kopřivnice and surrounding areas Work location: Horní 1113, Kopřivnice Start date: 01.09.2026 or by agreement For more information, please contact the organization's director Mgr.
