We are looking for a new colleague for a key position in our team: Director of Services and Social Worker for our shelter house and overnight facility. What will you do with us? • Lead and motivate a team, serve as support for social service workers (direct care staff), and coordinate the operations of the shelter house and overnight facility. • Guide clients by providing social counseling, helping them with administrative matters at government offices, finding housing or employment, and motivating them to address their situations. • Ensure quality and make sure our services operate in compliance with Law No. 108/2006 Coll. and quality standards for social services. • Manage administration, maintain client documentation, prepare shift schedules, and contribute to service development. What do we expect from you? • Education according to law: Meet the qualifications for a social worker according to § 110 of Law No. 108/2006 Coll. (secondary professional school or university degree in social work, social pedagogy, special pedagogy, etc.). • Leadership and diplomatic personality: Empathy as well as the ability to set firm boundaries (work with our target group requires stress resilience and assertiveness). • Professional approach: Respect for client dignity, a sense of justice, and teamwork. • Experience in the field (ideally in a management position or in homelessness services) is a great advantage but not an absolute requirement—we are happy to train you. • Clean criminal record.
